Jumbo nuts believes in the spirit of giving back to the community as part of CSR.
To this end, we support two children homes in our neighbourhood with food staff and other consumables annually. These are St.Stephen’s childrens’ home and Anglican church rescue centre.
During Covid -19 era, Jumbo nuts was instrumental in supporting staff members, neighbours and local farmers with a standard food package hampers, soaps and masks to enable them overcome the difficult period. Here are some of the initiatives we have proudly undertaken:
- Visit to St. Stephen’s Children home
- Visit to Embu children home for kids below 6years
- Distribution of food, masks and soaps to farmers
- Donation of bodaboda shades to Kamiu & Majimbo bodaboda riders
- Sale of seedlings to farmers at reduced prices
